2k swim. Did 32:15 for 1500 a new personal best. Last 500 worked on left side breathing, still taking on water but getting better.

Thirty minutes in the pool, still trying to find a consistent kick. It will come - some day.

This is the second day above freezing so I'm going to try running outside today.  Hopefully the ice is off the path at the park.  We'll see.  Some weights later on this evening.

Set my alarm, but didn't get up this morning early enough to exercise......shame on me. Planning on a 5 mile group run this evening with running club.

I'm a big time college football fan, and today is the national letter of intent day, so I'm going to be stuck in front of my computer day looking at players my team picked up. Maybe I'll be able to get out for a 30 minutes run.

40 minutes of swimming (30 minutes of intervals, 10 minutes of drills)
Using the trainer tonight (yippee!!) for the first time. I think I'll go for an entire hour. I wonder if there is anything on television worth biking to??

gonna hit the pool today after work....try to stretch it out to 40 minutes, maybe do some drills.

almost had to take a rest day when my son complained this morning that he was "sick and couldn't go to school." It's amazing, tho. Once you explain to said child that being "sick" and "staying home from school" does not translate into a big bowl of Lucky Charms in front of the boob tube the entire day but alas, stuck in bed, with blankets, seven up and soda crackers...very boooooring.

He suddenly got well enough to go to school.....hmmmm

20 minutes stretching (instead of the treadmill ;'-))
30 minutes weights for lower body
30 minute brisk walk at work

Stretching earlier in the day, will walk ~2 miles to the mailbox and back tonight.  Still taking it easy all week.  Exciting news.  I just looked up my USAT national rankings for 2003.  I'm 307th out of 859 triathletes in my age group nationally!

I wimped out of running outside due to slushy sidewalks. Otherwise it is warm (? -4C) compared to the last month here in Ontario.
Treadmill 30 min tempo run, U/E weights, partial L/E weights.

Hey Sharon, way to go! Go celebrate!

4 mile recovery run (after a tough hill work yesterday). My body told me I really worked hard yesterday - to date my recovery run pace wasn't that much different from 'easy run' pace. Somebody told me, 'if you don't feel a need to run at a very easy slow pace on your recovery day, your hard day is not hard enough'. That made a lot of sense today.....
