Allrighty - I'm over 100% for the month! Yay!!!

Congrats that is awesome. I will be over 120 after tonight so not worth changing goal as 120 is all I can give anyway. I am still amazed at how much I put in this month it surprised me I thought this would be a tough goal to get to.

I am finished for the month well probably not but I am at like 127 so not sure do I raise my goal just so it is 127 or will they just take 120? Either way if it needs to be raised raise it!! But make sure I am at 120

I'm feeling good today!  I completed my goal +some!!!!  Made it to 105%!!  Laughing  I don't think I'm going to run tomorrow, so that's it for me! I am pretty pleased with being able to pull it off, even with the ankle issue I've had for the past 3 weeks.

It's coming along well, but I still have some pain and compromised ROM.  It'll get there.  Now, for next month I'm on the a biking challenge!  That should definitely be a challenge for me, but it will give my ankle some needed rest.

Hope to see everyone finish this challenge strong and start a new one next month!

Best Wishes!  Smile

Happy birthday, Kam, and well done beating your goal even with the injured ankle.

I went over my goal yesterday, and I have a run scheduled tomorrow, so I should end up around 110%. This whole challenge was an awful lot of fun and great motivation. I'm sure I would have skipped a workout or 2 if I hadn't been in this great group. Now I'm thinking of a bike challenge for February.

Keep up the great work, everybody!

Anthony

Done!!    Finished at 107% with a 4 mile run this morning.  Whew...that was a lot of running for this non-runner.

Hey guys...way to finish up the month.  I just logged my last workout and came in a big whopping .85 miles over my goal, which puts me at 103%.  Still, I finished, so I'm happy.  Hope everyone else finishes the month strong.  And hope to see you guys around on future challenges!

January Challenge Final Update (aka, The World According to Beth)

You guys rock!

Funky-Chrono-Monkeys of the Frozen Cinder Tundra Captain Bluejack
Notice any family resemlence?

blue monkey

maybe the only thing we know for sure is this

what I do know, is that this team kicked some monkee booty!  Awesome job of inspiring each other and keeping things going!

Flying Fish – Captain Kendra
Well, the Talking Tilapia are at it once again (ahem, yes I know the blisters have a higher post count – LOL) – ok, back on track; According to team captain “That's right we don't lose, but we might be loose.  LOL” , hmmmm, now that’s food for thought????

Yeah, and hmmm, does anyone else find this disturbing?

This team has done an awesome job of inspiring each other – they’ve been through sickness, broken down cars, latex vs silicone and well, they still keep swimming!

Team Ride Lots – Captain Scott
Ahhhh Kenj has learned well from Master Waterdog66

Eat  your Loblolly and ride your trainer while visiting BT and you too shall be a Master – muwahahaha!
And I still continue to be intrigued by Loblolly, how do you pronounce it??? Well, in case you’re wondering it’s: Lob, as in Blob, and Lolly as in Lollypop – there’s some very interesting history here, there’s still time to learn about the origins of Loblolly!

Loving Every Mile – L.E.M. - Captain Lisa
We have the Boston Marathon, traveling for work (like seriously! Tokyo!!) to the longest run ever!  These people LOVE TO RUN!!!!!

Who’s your Marmadaddy? – Captain Sal
Judi was the first Power Puff girl to run across the finish line w00t w00t!  Apparently Sal and Kendra have been negotiating regarding a certain pic that was promised to Kendra by Sal in November?????? In fact, he somehow got the Power Puff girls to post their after some discussion as to what the ‘punishment’ would be for the loser of the challenge within a challenge. (wow Sal, I gotta hand it to you, you know how to work it! LOL). Here’s some inspiration for them

Dexter had a most excellent challenge, complete with the Freezeroo #4 Hearnish 10K and the discovery that V8 tastes good with vodka

Wet and Wild – Captain Jeni
Wow, so many ways that life can get in the way of training, but this team just continues to persevere!  Hat’s off to Stuart (nevergivin) for being the first on the team to reach 120%.  They are a team of spirit and inspiration!
So many images come to mind when one says – ‘wet and wild’, LOL here’s one that seems to fit

Twisted Blisters – Captain Beth
Where to start????? Despite all odds, bears, broken ribs, chilling temperatures, radical job changes, new businesses, babies…………somehow, this team remained the chattiest of the challenge teams – hmmmm, who knows, this could even overflow to their standings in the actual challenge

You ain’t heavy,  you’re my blister – LOL

Scrambled Legs – Captain 1for1
Wow, some pics in the Scrambled Legs thread that I may never recover from – LOL (yes, me) -   yeah, well you have to check them out on your own –
Talk about some true dedication, in spite of a broken arm – John exceeds more than 100% of his goal!

I think the  spirit of this team is summed up by this one quote!

THIS IS WHY I LOVE CHALLENGES... New Friends, Motivation, Meeting a goal that I never thought I would see me set, and finding ways to push and know I can push harder.

all we know, is that they are not a bunch of dancing chickens!

Team T.I.T.S – Captain Max (aka keeper of the T.I.T.S)
Yep, this sums it up!  “Our T.I.T.S. are getting perkier, and more voluminous with each passing day.  It must be the careful attention that we are giving to our individual and collective T.I.T.S.”

There were some treats offered

There were folks that were able ride in spite of a hangover, some even put in a 4 hour drainer ride
hmmmm, I guess this team has had plenty of T.I.T.S!
yeah, sooooooo – not going to even try and describe what came up when I did a google search on T.I.T.S - LOL

I hope you all enjoyed the challenge as much as Dee and I did!

drum roll please!

and the winner is???????

plus...............it's early in some places, they may still be out swimming, or running, or biking
