  • Comments: This is my first time placing in an individual athletic event! What's even more cool is my wife placed second in her division too. Of course I stayed a long time, but left after the awards as our family was expecting us and they drew my number for the garmin. Argh. Stay 'til the end!

  • Comments: A little short of volunteers at some key points on the bike--the sheriff just getting to a dangerous corner in Augusta when I got there--needed more than a volunteer there. Another dangerous turn after Creative Memories, over the 94 bridge. Some ass in a car didn't want to slow down and wait for the bikes. On the run, one water station for coming and going; at first pass no one had water to hand off so I had to wait; on second pass, they gave me about 1/4 cup of water--were they running out? Not enough volunteers there --only 3--so slow to hand out. They ran out of water before the last runner came in at the end. It was a hot day and needed to have enough water. Amazing post race door prizes from Rev and Endurunce--basically getting a $100 gps watch paid for the race and then some. Small field bc Lifetime and TImberman were the same day--no female elites at all. Needs more volunteers. Better safety now that the run has been moved off the road it was on, even though I don't like

  • Comments: Fun race, new venue is fine. The TA switch was good as well as the bike course reversal. With Scott living in St Cloud a good race for us to do as a family. Sadly we misse Andy and Jenny's wedding in Door County.

  • Comments: I'm getting used to courses being mis-measured but I don't understand why the bike measurement was so off.

  • Comments: This was a brand new race location for this race and I thought they did a good job organizing the whole event. I would do it again next year if it fits into the schedule.

  • Comments: I finally beat Larry Stracke, one of goals for the year and then didn't even get a podium spot. I beat him by 25 seconds and in aech of the s/b/r legs. He had me by 56 secs in transitions due to my poor T1. A great race for me, very happy with my times. Too bad for me, it was my first non-podium race of the year by only 1 second and caused primarily by my bad T1.

  • Comments: Race did not start on time, the signage in transition was lacking, the turn into transition for the run and bike was a little dangerous. Volunteers were nice, and plentiful. Pre race prayer during the mandatory meeting felt like a religious ambush. May raise fome funds and just race Lifetime next year.

  • Comments: 2nd year at Graniteman, it works out well w/Scott living in St Cloud, otherwise probably would not do this one. We got hot dog and chips this year but only a towel, no t-shirt in goodie bag. Pretty low-key, non-USAT race. I do like the granite plaques instead of a medal for podium finishes. They had a the HED wheel and a mtn bike for prizes this year better than last year. Thanks to a call from Andy we went down hy 10 instead of I94 and then headed east when 10 slowed down. It still tooks us 3:20 but it took them 5:00.

  • Comments: Nice race. The venue has a serious bug problem, and the run was boring... but the bike course was nice and the race was handled smoothly overall. I love the swim format and the rugs in transition rocked. Not sure if it was worth the drive, but I felt like trying something different and I'm glad I went.

  • Comments: Post race food was a little lacking. Nice the AG awards went 6 deep, very nice small granite plaques for 1-3 AG finishers.

  • Comments: The best. I am sure the sunny skies and good temp helped my opinion ... I think it stayed under 80 the whole morning through noon? Awards were good and fun. LOTS and LOTS of giveaways. Good lake for swim, nice cycle course with turns (only one sorta dangerous looking asphalt missing curb), good run and great finish line area. The BEST event I have been to so far!

  • Comments: I liked the course for this race. Having an out and back run is great because you can see who is ahead of and behind you. The biking course kept you alert because there were a lot of turns and hardly any flat stretches. This was a good race, had a fun vibe, and I'd totally do it again. Although next year I'd request the temp to be at least 25 degrees cooler.
