  • Comments: I hadn't done the Peachtree City International before as it has been the same weekend as Florida 70.3. This year I decided to change things up with my race schedule and thought I would give this race a tri (pun intended) instead. Just as is the case with the PTC sprint, the international distance race is as well run and an absolute joy to do. Depending on my race plans next year, I will certainly consider doing it again.

  • Comments: This was my first time doing this race and I really enjoyed it. The course was well supported with lots of volunteers on both the bike and run courses. The bike had some good hills but nothing too severe. I loved the run course. A shaded run on the golf cart path around the lake with only a few small hills. I will definitely add this race to my calendar next year.

  • Comments: Well, lets see. I know I have a lot of improvement that both needs to be and can be made. When I saw tonight what my times were for the run and the swim, I almost cried because I was so mad/sad/embarassed/ashamed of the race. The bike portion I was actually happy with. Basically, I'm happy that

  • Comments: I really enjoyed the race. I came for experience and to set a baseline for myself and did both of those. I met a lot a very nice and helpful folks. While I'm sure this review probably won't provide much useful information to true triathletes, I hope it did provide some comic relief as experienced by a "newbie no more".

  • Comments: The venue is great and the race organizers do an awesome job with this race. I would definitely attend this race again. At times, the bike course seemed a bit crowded and it was difficult not to fall into a drafting distance but the ride is long enough that by the end of the cyclists were stretched out more and it was easy to maintain speed and not be worried about drafting. The run course was delightfully shady with just enough elevation change to make for a fast run without being too hilly or too flat.

  • Comments: lots of volunteers on the bike course that made it very easy to follow the course and felt safe...the run course was a different story though...it was kinda lonely out there, wasn't sure where to go at times and started to make a wrong turn at one point because the volunteer wasn't pointing in the right direction.

  • Comments: This is one of the best races I have run. The combination of a great course, close to home, and well supported, makes it great!

  • Comments: This really is an excellent race, although the cold morning kind of sux. I haven't trained much since St. Anthony's, so this race was at best a training session for me. I still enjoyed myself.

  • Comments: Very worth doing. The only reason I gave it a "4" was I don't know what a "5" would be. But I will do this race every year they have it.

  • Comments: I really enjoyed the race. The BBQ afterward was great. It was as good as the BBQ that I went to that night which was a pre-wedding party. UMMM UMMM BBQ twice in one day. ;) I finished 2 minutes and four seconds slower than St. Anthony's. Considering how desperately I struggled on the first half of the swim, I was satisfied with that. I am improving... that is what I am looking for. Oh yeah, and I liked the T-shirt.

  • Comments: There needs to be mile markers on the run and bike courses. I had no idea where I was on either. Thankfully on the run course there were spectators who knew and would shout out to us.

  • Comments: Overall very good race. Great post race activities and food. Would help to have more pre-race info/meetings and possibly a USAT officials brief.

  • Comments: Peachtree City is a great place to have a race. The golf cart paths make a really nice run and the roads in PTC are generally wider. The people that live there are used to seeing bikes everywhere. Kim Bramblett and her husband Peewee do an awesome job in putting on these races. The really put the extra effort (even in things you don't even realize that they have done...like somehow scooped up the goose poop in the transition area) to make it a well run, fun race. Big kudos to Smokey Bones for the great post-race food.
