  • Comments: This was the last of the 10 series WT Off Road Tri's. Great cookout with raffle prizes and prizes for the season winners for age groups. This is such a great series of events. Awesome Staff - they bring out great people. I'm sad it's over and so looking forward to next year !! Thanks WINDING TRAILS for another great season !!!!

  • Comments: There is always next week with Winding Trails so even an off race is not too bad. And even an off race is still a blast, isn't it!

  • Comments: Think i figured out the race reports. First time - Swim + Run to T1 Second time - T1 + Bike Segment Third time (called bike cum) - The total of the first two times (just to confuse me i guess) Fouth & Fifth times (which are always the same) - T2 + Run It doesn't help that it looks like parts of the column title look to be skewed so it's hard to tell what each column actually represents. But i guess i know what the overall time it :)

  • Comments: I decided to go ahead and race the course even tho i arrived too late for the official start. Mostly, becuase i had already spent 2.5 hours in the car to get there, but also, i wanted to check out the new course and familiarize myself with the transition area, etc. I really like what they've done with the race. The new transition area is awesome. The only thing i didn't like are the new ankle straps for the timing chips. They're big and wide with snaps so they don't adjust well. Mine was too tight and cut into the back of leg where my achilles tendon is (ouch) ! The other alternative would've been to have it too loose and flop around (which is what i'll do next time). I'll bring longer socks and put the strap over the sock in transition.

  • Comments: I love that this is an every week event. I wish there was one closer so that i could easily make it every week. That being said, the registration process is so quick and easy, it's not out of the question to make at least every other week.

  • Comments: Popsicles at the finish - nice! This race has really grown in size this summer. From approx. 100 to now ~150 finishers but the 2 wave start helps that although it doesn't let you see who you are racing against. Still a fab race and a great way to experiment with stuff each week.

  • Comments: I am getting bored with the course although it really does let you experiement and get quick feedback week-to-week on stuff. Was nice to have 2 waves. Wonder if they'd ever run the bike and run courses backwards just for a different view of the trails?
