  • Comments: I think this was a really well-organized race on a beautiful course. Even though the drive is not much fun from NYC, I'd like to make this an annual one. I had a really great time.

  • Comments: Definitely racing again next year. I really really enjoyed myself today. There should have been more volunteers on the bike course. A few times I had no idea if I was supposed to turn or not. Apparently I stayed on course, it could have been better marked. Honestly I did awesome and I am really happy with my performance. It was a good venue.

  • Comments: The race started 25 minutes late and the run course is not measured properly. Couple that with a transition area that is way too crowded. The realy racers should have their own rack/area that is out of the way of the other racers. My swim rocked and the rest sucked, mostly due to my own lack of motivation. I'm not really a big fan of sprint triathlons, so it's my own fault. They are kind of expensive and a lot of work (travel, registration...) for an hour+ of racing.

  • Comments: There were a few snafus this year with the late start and some timing problems that caused a delay of the awards. This is unusual for this race and this race management company, hopefully it is just bad luck for that day. The food after was good, and the beach area is a very nice atmosphere for the post-race.

  • Comments: My first triathlon. Felt great to complete it. If I do another, I'll train harder: simple as that. For now, though, I'm just happy with what I've accomplished.

  • Comments: Wish there were more water stations (I think there was only one at the transition area and one on the run) and mile markers every so often on the bike and run. Otherwsie course was well organized. Age group prize was a nice long sleeved t-shirt.

  • Comments: Could have been a little more organized beforehand, and the volunteers were just OK. They did a nice job of traffic control and police presence. Good T-shirts.

  • Comments: really good event. a little pricey if you waited to register. but well organized and nice volunteers. I finished as the 6th woman overall and could not have asked for a better place then childhood home town area.
