  • Comments: Well, I definitely have the bug. Overall, I was really pretty slow, but I have no complaints for my first oly. If anything, I am just really motivated to kick my training into high gear and get ready for more oly's and maybe a HIM next year.

  • Comments: Good first Oly. A long section of the bike course was rough enough to make me think twice about signing up for next year. If they can get that one figured out I would love to do this race again.

  • Comments: Outstanding event organization, volunteers, & spectators, but very rough pavement on much of bike course (Lafayette Rd, White River Pkwy). In fairness this was NOT the event's usu route due to construction. Happy with my race. Beat my goal time despite nasty bout of cramps @ T1.

  • Comments: A great event at a terrific downtown venue put on by the Tuxedo Brothers. That canal swim was fun and unique, and I'll definitely do this one again. Maybe the City can get some paving done before then.

  • Comments: I beat my goal time of 2:45 by just over 4 mins. Can't complain about that. I wish my run had been better, but I did have a good bike.

  • Comments: Need more volunteers, and the Transition area needed to be watched. Would like to have strong, loud people on those two bike turns I mentioned. But it was a great race, and I would do it again. The swim turned my light blue cap, light green, but it was still fun to swim straight like that.

  • Comments: This was a fun race! Great venue for all three legs. Well organized. They should probably have a pre-race meeting at a specific time to explain the wave starts since some people got confused. They also need security at the bike transition. It would have been way too easy for someone to go "bike shopping". No one was at the bike exit when I grabbed my bike to go home to verify that I was taking my bike and not some tricked out Cervelo with Zipp 1080's and a Powertap!

  • Comments: Another great Tuxedo Brothers event. Fantastic new venue downtown and one I would recommend to new triathletes (the also had a sprint and a duathlon) and the swim was very well done. It allows for excellent navigation and if someone panics they can just stand up. Bike and run were nice setup.
