  • Comments: I did this race 2 years ago and the improvements were obvious. The RD seems to truly care about his race and the athletes' experiences and trying to get things right/safe. Minor complaint: format of race stats by the timing company. They only display AG results, so it is extremely difficult to figure out where one finished overall and by gender, so any numbers I posted could be wrong seeing as I needed to manually count where I placed.

  • Comments: Normally I always give Delmo a 5, but the traffic situation getting into the venue was out of control. I spent nearly 45 minutes by the venue in traffic trying to enter. Besides that, it was an awesome race as usual. Safe, fun, fast.

  • Comments: This is a great well organized race! It has the best after triathlon food! The location of Atlantic City also helps and you can get even more food at the Atlantic City Seafood Festival while you watch the award ceremony.

  • Comments: Definitely a great way to end my season. Everything went better than planned and knowing all the hard work paid off is a big relief and just makes ya want to work harder next season. Was one race short of my goal (3/4) for getting on the podium each time but it is what it is. Definitely made a big stride from just trying this sport to this season. Happy happy happy.

  • Comments: Great race. Only thing I didn't like was having to stop during the run to wait for the traffic. Not sure how they can avoid this in the future.

  • Comments: This is only the 2nd year for this race, and the RD made some pretty major changes/improvements from last year, from what I understand. It sounds like next year there may be a few more. Aside from a few growing pains, I really, truly did enjoy this race. I like what they are trying to do: present a fun, scenic race with unique aspects (expressway, boardwalk) that intertwines with the community and letting people see/experience what makes AC AC. I would do this race again, for sure. And there is little doubt that the RD will do his best to make improvements based on the feedback of the racers this year.

  • Comments: This was an excellent race. You swam in the bay at 73.5°F temperatures so you didn't need a wetsuit, but you could wear one. Start was based on age group waves so you didn't have too much jostling. The bike was excellent since you got to ride on the Atlantic City Expressway. There was wind in one direction so you were slow going west, but fast going east. The run was on the famous Atlantic City boardwalk. It was a great run and a good surface on the boardwalk. Excellent drink stations using Hammer (drink and gels)and Gatorade.

  • Comments: this was one of the best triathlons i have been to - and i loved the finishers medal!! It felt so amazing to cross the finishers line. the food was great post race (although as a chef - i would have done it differently - just the food that is) the ride course, although fun to do was stressful and there were a lot of traffic jams. the swim and run courses were excellent and safe. i WILL do this again!!!

  • Comments: I was so looking forward to this race and swimming in the ocean, biking on the expressway and running on the boardwalk. Great idea just crappy weather/water. Would like to do again next year but may conflict with a HIM I want to do.

  • Comments: This was the inaugural edition of this race. I think they had the best of intentions, but there were several hiccups that prevented it from being a 'good' race. The swim likely should have never been attempted, but I'm told that the AC Beach Patrol was pining to have us try it so that they could be paid...I don't know? At the very least, those of us on the course after the swim had been canceled should have been told that it was canceled, so that we could have saved energy for the TT. I also had a few issues with the 'extras' (swag) because much of what had been promised was not available or was misleading (a $25 'gift card' was actually 25% off of a dinner at Morton's in Philly, a city 70 miles away).
