• Comments: Great race...especially for first of the season (for me) and for newbies out there...I think this will become my staple for the season... There was also an amazing ceremony with a moment of silence and wreath release in the water for a former racer/trainer who recently passed away due to brain cancer and that was something different...but also a great thing that the race organizers accomplished. A lot of people raced...its really an amazing thing...and its definitely given me a good push for the rest of the season...now onto Webster this coming weekend!

• Comments: Overall I'm very happy with my performance. The goal was to finish and I did. I know I can do a better job on the run and could easily knock 10 minutes off that time. I'm planning to do this race again in September and will shoot to improve all aspects of the race,as well as pay better attention to individual times.

• Comments: The most important things to me about any race are on the course. Is it well marked? Are there mile markers on the run? Is it always very clear where to go well in advance of making a sharp turn. In this the course was marshalled exeptionally well.

• Comments: Overall a very good race. I beat almost all my goals. I finished in the top half of my age group (barely). Finished under 1:15. I didn't beat 8:00 on the swim though. I'll do it next time. Long term goal (next year or perhaps in September) is to place top 20 in AG.

• Comments: Great race, I will definitely do it again, good people, all volunteers/staff very friendly. Excellent amenities, food, and very well set up. I have spectated at a few triathlons, but I have to say the crowd, and the cheering makes it one of my fav's so far. My only gripe is the race started about 20minutes late. There was a dedication ceremony at the beginning of the race which was heartfelt and moving, and also motivational. Im glad I chose this race, It was my 1st triathlon and hope there will be more to come.
