  • Comments: I said "good" for post race activities but that's only because we brought our own. What the race provides is pretty pathetic. Our men were smoking fast and they won again. I think in record time. The first women's team got 5th and I was on the 2nd women's team that ended up in 19th. There were 144 women's teams so that was pretty good. It's a fun event, but frustrating because I always hope to do better than I do.

  • Comments: I was expecting to be slower than last year as I hadn't done any speedwork. I think I had more miles in, but nothing fast. The women's team was a little sparse this year and we ended up 8th out of 166 teams. The men won. No mixed team this year. Regardless of how we finished, it is still a fun event and Scott brings good beer!

  • Comments: Record rainfall for this date! Rain started about an hour before the race and continued on and off throughout.

  • Comments: RIT provides a tent and food for the runners. We had burgers, sausage, chicken, and pasta available.

  • Comments: Race was reasonably well organized. Actually, it was Yellow Jacket Racing who was hosting it. They did a pretty good job.

  • Comments: Overall the race was very fun- it was great to see all the different groups out there together. I was especially pleased to see that Wendy's had a team! It was just too bad so many people didn't take the starting line guidelines more seriously. The traffic control was poor, but it had good organization considering the size. I thought there was a little too much announcing before the race though!

  • Comments: It's a big giant social event. It's nice to see so many people running. I'm sure it helps to get at least a few motivated to exercise.

  • Comments: No chips, cookies, or anything at the race -- I had my mind set on a soft-serve twist -- So....the 2 places we tried to go to were closed, boo hoo -- poor Dexter had to pee so bad that got me laughing pretty good, so we just went home --finished my can of Coke, took a shower and went to bed!

  • Comments: Fun race. Great to have all those people meeting and seeing friends. So a few people we hadn't seen in a while. We had some dinner at Yoshi's work tent. Mike is forceing me to do the Pittsford Tri.

  • Comments: This is a very large race, about 9400 runners and walkers. It brings out everyone and many folks that think they are much faster than they really are. It's a fun race to do with all the coworkers though.
