  • Comments: I doubt I'll do another DA race for at least a while. For a really steep entry fee, we got cheap t-shirts, last-minute race changes, too few porta-pots (did anyone else notice that they were nicer than normal? Why not get the old hole-in-the-box kind and just get MORE!), a race that started late and completely disorganized, and screwed up aid stations. DA has the potential to do some great things in this area, but if they're going to cut corners in such obvious ways, they're not going to get my money anytime soon. Sucks, because I definitely would want to disco with Shannon again!!

  • Comments: I wish they would've kept with the aforementioned wave starts instead of changing them at the last minute. More rest rooms would've been a big plus too. Those are minor complaints. This was a great race and DA should be proud they pulled off a great event despite the lack of a swim.

  • Comments: I would totally do this race again next year...it was a really fun race! The running beach start was fun, the bike was tough but not too tough, and the run was awesome. I'd recommend for future races on this course have a better system for getting out of the water (ie: buoy on the shore and more organized beach run out.) The bike course could also use a good sweeping. The post-race party was great and we loved the fact that it was on a sand beach. It was awesome to go jump in the water after the race and just float for a couple of minutes.

  • Comments: I really liked this race. The theme was great. There were even a few who was in full Disco gear and riding old beach cruisers. That must have been a blast. After volenteering for a few races , I really would have thought that I'd pay the volenteers more attention. With the exception of a couple of "thanks for volenteering", I didn't really pay them much attention.

  • Comments: Enjoyed this race last year and it again delivered this year. How can disco music blaring the entire race not be fun? How can I complain: I placed 3rd in my age group!

  • Comments: It was my first tri so I can't compare to others... but I thought that it was well managed and a lot of fun. Placing 22 in a field of 39 was much better than I anticipated. Now I got 2 months to train for the T-Man and improve my overall time.

  • Comments: This was the first year for the Disco Sprint Triathlon and the Dallas Athletes did a good job with the course, support and organization of the race. I would like to see more tents for shade post race and maybe disco music along the run course. Overall, I would do this race again.
