Subject: first olympic tri today!
I made it and it felt GREAT!  I'm slow, but I met the goal I deemed "ambitious" for me!  And do you want to know what I'm super proud of?  I beat my husband (who has been doing tris for 3 years now) out of the water!!!  He's pretty disappointed in his time, and I feel badly about that, but I can't help feeling a little bit excited--shhh!

YAAAAAAAAA!!!  Congrats!!  I just posted a thread in here yesterday about how I have my first OLY next weekend and how I am a little nervous....

Your race didn't start in waves? 

sort of--big ones--a 39 and younger wave, 40+ wave, and relay wave.
