Cervelo and Hyrdotail H.5c

I have the Hydrotail H.5c and find it to be a marked improvement from it's all carbon brother. 
The functionality between the two is the same when it comes to ability to attach bottle cages, CO₂ cartridges + chuck via the X-nut, straps to hold your spare tube and so forth ... the only thing different is how it adheres to your bike.

The standard version attaches to the rails of the saddle and has a history of slipping thereby allowing the rear assembly to slide down. The advantage is that is carbon and relatively light weight. 

The H.5c is made from a metal and adheres to the pre-drilled holes in the Cervelo aeroseat post.  While more sturdy, it is heavier.

Note: I still had bottles eject during the rougher portion of Steelhead ride so I am not sure that the H.5c composition absorbs vibration better than carbon ... that said, it was a pretty rough section so I am not sure anything would have held the bottles in there!

For the rest of the forum I'll share what I PMed  earlier. I'm using the H.5c, and I went really low tech and used 2 rubberbands to hold 2 tire levers, multitool and 2 tubes in a bundle and then used the xlab velcro straps to hold it all in place. After 3 weeks of use no complaints and nothing dropped out. When I rack and transport the bike I don't take it off either, its pretty secure.

I use tubulars...Can I use it with tubulars???

And other different question....What about when you do the bike desmount??? Is easy with that in your back of your seat???

I won't lie, the mount is a little tough because it the bottles are high and set far back from the seat, my ankle clips the top of my rocket bottles about 30% of the time. I have been getting use to it and it seems to happen less and less.  I haven't noticed it on the dismount as the extra height you get from the pedals makes up for it.  

 I'm going to dig and repost my original post on this about a month ago, w/ the insall and slight mod I made to it.

 I have seen a ton of people asking about the Sonic Wing, I just received mine in the mail from Bikesport MI. First I want to say Tom and his crew did a great job, I ordered the "x-nut" inflater and which apparently doesn't fit on the sonic wing, 15 minutes after I placed a web order I received a phone call asking if I intended to use the wing/inflater together, they explained that they wouldn't work but substituted the proper inflation kit. 3 Days later I was installing it on my P2.
