Subject: RE: OvertrainingI haven't usually identified it as overtraining -- I have chalked it up to being lazy on a particular day. I don't feel that I train all that hard, so it is difficult to "blame" it on overtraining. But yesterday is a perfect example -- I felt too tired for an afternoon bike ride in the gorgeous, sunny 60 degree day!! THAT is not like me. I felt just generally icky -- not really sick, but kind of on the verge of being sick -- stomach issues, etc.. This morning seems better, but I am taking a day off from work -- and if I am wise (we shall see), I will take the day off from training. The area of nutrition is one I truly need to concentrate on, and could be a big contributor to my malaise. |
