 Comments: I had a great first 6kms - my time was 31mins over 6kms which is good for me and I was happy - I had trouble maintaining it and AGAIN really struggled at the 7km mark. My body felt generally fine - I think I just need to train a lot more in order to improve. I was running and thinking about the run part of a Half IM and know that I am SOOOOO far from doing that at the moment... What would you do differently?: More training! ![]() Post race 
                                        Warm down: Walked and stretched and then sat down and drank some juice and water and ate some rice crackers and a banana - came home and made pancakes! What limited your ability to perform faster: Level of fitness at this stage Event comments: A NEW PB! 52.58min - Previous PB 53.44min I beat my previous PB of 53.44 but I am not overjoyed and I am not sure why - I think I could have run a little bit harder - I think I am getting to a point where I expect more from myself - It is really dumb because 12 months ago I never even would have CONTEMPLATED running in a 10km race. Not ever! Anyway - have to be kinder to myself. I did a great job and I know there were a lot of people still in bed nursing hangovers and not even thinking and walking 1 km letting alone running 10! Got up at 6.30am - had wholemeal toast with honey, a cup of coffee and lots of water up until race start at 8.30am - did some light stretching and jogging
Just some light jogging and stretcing
