Sounds like a great race, Corey! You average nearly 20 mph on those hills, including a crash? That's amazing!

I have put the Escape on my "Must do" list and in a couple of years, I hope to jump off the boat with the rest of the crazy people.

The escape is not for the faint of heart. Very good job.  From what I hear, the sand stuff is a killer.

Man I wish I can have "not good swims," like you bud! You kicked butt. First in AG and an awesome time. Way to go. Escape is not for wusses. Did you see any sharks? Sorry about the goggles. That's a bummer. Congrats guy. You rock. I'm going to do this race as well.

yea I had a pretty hard crash and I think it got my adreneline pumping. but the sand steps were the killer, it took everything out of me. It was horrible. no i didn't see any sharks, and there really are none in there...but I saw a few sea lions. you all should race it, it's not as hard as it is said to be...but the run is verrry hard at mile 4

Great race, Corey. Way to go keeping it together mentally after losing your goggles.

I'm really looking forward to the day when I'm yelling "GO COREY!" at my television.
