I have my own thoughts about what the breakdown will be given the cohort that belongs to this website.

Agreed as do all the threads bout Lance since its not really tri related. But given nobody ever looks over there it all defaults here.

Putting aside the fact that Lance was competing as an elite triathlete when the lifetime ban was imposed, the third most active forum on BT is a place that nobody goes?

ETA - just checked the number of posts instead of threads and it is the second most active not third.

And this is? http://beginnertriathlete.com/discussion/forums/thread-view.asp?tid... is where the question came from. I was interested in how few people were praying and how many we're sending good vibes.

I suspect this thread will not last long but...

I thought the other thread technically was not in the correct place too but given the nature I thought it would be pretty bad form to point that out.  Sometimes compassion is just more important.

Yes, that is correct. I guess I was talking about when someone posts a question which has the word BIKE in the topic. I have to read 20 people talk about FIT... It just gets old...

Nice thread, wrong forum but that happens.  I often wonder about the triathlon dating thread.  Shouldn't it be a COJ dating thread.....?

Either way, I voted, but not until it got moved here as I do follow a certain code of conduct.  I have much to say on the topic but thankfully I don't have to as you were enlightened enough to actually put a poll.  So many times people ask the question but don't put the poll.  Confounds me.

Curious as to how the results to date align with your prediction.

King of Banff huh?  hmmmmmm, you doing the marathon out there, looks like a good one.  A bit pricey but that seems to be the way of things.

I took "not ready to comment" to mean none of your business and voted accordingly.

ETA:  I looked again and saw that it says commit as opposed to comment.  So for purposes of your poll, count one of the "not ready to commit" as none of your business.  The only reason I voted because I was curious of the results.  Carry on.

Not that I condone fascism, or any -ism for that matter. -Ism's in my opinion are not good. A person should not believe in an -ism, he should believe in himself. I quote John Lennon, "I don't believe in Beatles, I just believe in me." Good point there. After all, he was the walrus. I could be the walrus. I'd still have to bum rides off people.   - Ferris Bueller

I don't have faith in faith.
I don't believe in belief.

You can call me faithless.

But I still cling to hope.
And I believe in love.

And that's faith enough for me.

To the OP, I didn't vote.  But if forced, I probably classify myself as a theist.  I hesitate because I've been having growing doubts over the last couple of years about the increasing fundamentalist theology that is taking over my particular Christian denomination.

I'm definitely not a Biblical literalist.

It tells me that organized religion is a crock.

Still, it's not too hard for me to believe in something greater than man.

As the son of a Lutheran pastor who grew up in that church, and has attended many others... I agree with you.
