How long can you keep rented wetsuit for??

Extreme Veteran  705  |  Subject: How long can you keep rented wetsuit for??I have been at the site where wetsuits are available for rental, but for the life of me, I can't find how long we can rent them for? and should I just buy a hood and boots? I am going to start swimming in our lake, which is about 55 degrees. Thanks! |

WSR just wants the suit mailed back "some time the week after the race." Sooner is probably better, though. I would say mail it back within the first couple of days afterwards. |

Expert 1092 Earth | Subject: RE: How long can you keep rented wetsuit for?? The only racers that don't pee in their suits are novices, well and some others that are willing to wait in line at the port-a-johns. Pool racers don't generally need wetsuits, so they don't pee in the pool before a race. |

Do you think that would be OK? Thanks, Well, you have to call around and find out. I know Tri Sports (www.trisports.com) expects the wetsuit back a week after the race. You have to mail it back 2 days afterwards. What's nice though, is that your rental fee of $65 goes towards you buying something from them in the next 30 days... so if you need nutrition, an outfit, etc. you basically get a free wetsuit rental. |
