After engaging in a discussion in another thread, I was going to ask this question there, but it would have kinda been highjacking that thread. So do you have a favorite Bible verse? What is it?

Mine, Luke 15:10 "There is joy in the presence of God's angels when even one sinner repents"
Also big fan of Mark 8:35-37 and John 15:17

There's so many do I have to pick one?  Ok- here's 2 of my favorites.

Isaiah 40:31

but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

And... Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;  in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

Titus 2:9-10 (New International Version)

9Teach slaves to be subject to their masters in everything, to try to please them, not to talk back to them, 10and not to steal from them, but to show that they can be fully trusted, so that in every way they will make the teaching about God our Savior attractive.

At my first defense, no one came to my support, but everyone deserted me. May it not be held against them. But the Lord stood at my side and gave me strength, so that through me the message might be fully proclaimed and all the Gentiles might hear it. And I was delivered from the lion's mouth. The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to his heavenly kingdom. To him be glory for ever and ever. Amen.   2 Timothy 4:16-18

Psalm 51:10
"Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me."

1 Corinthians 13:4-8
" Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails."

Woe to you oh earth and sea for the devil brings the beast with wrath because he knows the time is short. Let him who have understanding reckon the number of the beast, for it is a human number. Its number is 3 hundred and 3 score 6.

From revelations

everytime I read it, scares me in to believing....

I hereby officially vote myself off the Religious Discussion Island. It's too hard for me, and upon reflection, I know that I need to keep BT a bit at a distance on this topic.

so I vote Jim and Yoda.

Phoenixazul already posted this but it is also my favourite.  I used this as my vows to Agnes when we were wed.
