What's the occasion? Have I missed something?

Well, I'm flying from Belfast to Bristol, cooling my heels for a bit, then flying to Pisa, then getting on a train and going to Florence to meet up with mates from my college. My US college is doing a tour of n. Italy with the band/choir. Basically, I'm so desperate to see my friends that I've got to go to Italy to see them. It was all intentional, but I just hadn't pushed the buton. Nothing but 8 p tesco value ramen for the next month and a half.

(other concern is that this is RIGHT before my marathon!!!)

I'll be back on the 21st. Then I have to leave at the LATEST the 23rd, and the marathon is on the 26 (problem with travel in Ireland is that weekends it takes FOREVER, and its in a remote location).

Hmmm. My boss just asked me if I'd like to move to Puerto Rico, Ireland, Germany or Belgium. None of the above, I said. I just couldn't leave my wife behind, even if I could return every 2 weeks.

So jealous! Italy is my favorite place!! I've been 7 times and that's not enough.
