Subject: RE: 10K Marathon Swim????If properly trained I won't even be sore after a 10k. I did my first 10k in 2006...it was a Saturday. I ran the Boulder 70.3 the next day...swam my third fastest HIM time and almost PR'd the HIM (if I hadn't flatted on the bike I would have). But I can barely walk the day after a marathon even if I'm well trained. So, I think the running marathon is WAY harder on your body. But it is a good comparison in terms of training time/effort. |
