Yep.

None of his shenanigans worked last night, so in hindsight you can say they were ill advised, but plenty of blame to go around. Like the defense allowing quick, nearly unopposed TD drives at the end of each half. Like Alleman missing two FGs. Like a lot of dropped passes.

Give plenty of credit to McCarron and the Bama offense as well.

As a bright spot, Mettenberger showed glimmers of the QB we've been led to believe he is.

Good game nonetheless, Bama has a clear road to another BCSNC.

The good news is I think LSU lost that game, Bama didn't win. I think the worst call was the wildcat formation on 4th down. Mettenberger has been killing the defense all second half, why do you line up in the wildcat and run right into Bama's strength? Spread the field a little at least. Make them worry about a short 2 yard pass on both sides instead of having 11 guys standing right in front of the RB.

You JINXED us!!!  Did you REALLY have to go and do that???






I only wish that my buddies down in Panama yesterday could've taken an extra 15 minutes to cross the finish line so I would've been distracted for the last 4 minutes of the game.

I've been following LSU football since 1985.  Missed only a few home games from 1985 to 1991, and didn't miss a single home game 1992 to 1997.  HOWEVER, it's a bit tough to follow now without the risks of destroying my tv or becoming an alcoholic.
(okay, so the 1800 miles makes it a bit difficult sometimes, too   ).

At least now I won't have to worry about family and friends being out of town when I head to BR Dec 1st.

Finally, a game that was worth watching! Yeah, I would say that even had Whattaburger marched down the field and gotten his own touchdown at the end.

Wow, that was some game. Too bad AL only played for about 1:00 the whole second half.
