Subject: I'm back beeeyatches!!!

Whew!! After a whirlwind 3 weeks of packing, moving, unpacking, and getting settled into my new digs, I think I am about ready to re-enter the world of bt.com..

My new apt is sah-weet!! Smaller than the previous Casa de Rob, but workable. Downsizing from a ginormous PC tower, speaker system, and a mammoth ancient 15" CRT monitor to a spiffy new 20" flatscreen iMac has sure helped!! I LOVE that fricking thing!! Wow, iMacs rule...

Have spent many a night walking across the street to have mai tais and watch the sun set over the harbor, or down a block to get thai food, or stopping in to the bar to have a pint and shoot some pool... this could be dangerous... really dangerous! LOL...

Things with Jen are going fantastic. The past month has been filled with a lot of getting to know each other again and we've spent tons of time together since I now live 5 min from her - used to be over an hour... She has done a lot of soul searching and I think truly realizes what a great thing she has in me. To be fair, she always knew it, but now seems much more comfortable with her own life and thus, with being with me and envisioning a future together. And in 2 weeks we're hitting Vegas for a wild weekend of fun fun fun... Holy cow I am stoked for Vegas, baby, YEAH!

Anyways, this weekend I will FINALLY get back to my training... So what's new with all of you?  I've missed this place!

LOL, did you know they have better drugs than lithium now?  (But it's nice to see you in your manic phase.)  :-)

Hi Dee!! Yep I was there at Tinman, sorry to have missed you - great day for a race, huh? Hope your hubby did well!! Jen did fine, I think 2:40 or something like that. Not nearly what she wanted or is capable of, but she also didn't train as hard as she wanted either, so it wasn't a real shocker. I was jealous not racing myself, but I've enjoyed a little lazing these past few weeks (ok, ok, a LOT of lazing!) and I finally feel ready to start getting ready for Ko Olina. Will go for a nice walk/jog this evening to get my legs moving again.

And no no no, no wedding bells in Vegas I PROMISE!! LOL... But a ring is a possibility somewhere in the future I think, I'll admit that much. We will see, we will see.

Laura, how the hell are ya? Love the new photo by the way... hope life is good and you need to get out there for some mai tai's yourself!!
