Seriously, no one was up at the wee hours of the morning putting in a couple hard intervals on the trainer and watching the nuptials? As I rely on BTCOJ for all my current event information I was shocked to see no thread.

I almost managed to keep only a passing interest, but a radio report on the way to work today commenting on how all the talk was about whether Pippa Middleton went commando or not had me searching for the highlights upon arriving at work.

I'm very happy for the young couple, she seems very well put-together and poised, and I wish them the peace and joy that Prince William's parents seemed unable to find in their marriage.

I did watch Lady Diana and Prince Charles's wedding when I was a little girl.

However, this afternoon I was engaged in more important pursuits, like a long nap.

I think it's kinda cool. I caught the live coverage of Kate and her father riding to Westminster Abbey and then watched the ceremony up until they exchanged rings. Then, I went for a run and when I returned I caught William and Kate on their way to Buckingham Palace. When I got into work, a bunch of us watched the kiss from the Palace balcony.

Got to say, pomp and ceremony are done very well back home!!

Good luck to them, I think they have a great future, they have been dating for a long time, they know each other well, she is very well adjusted to the awful pressure the media will place on them.

they  have a better start point than his parents.

Considering Charles was always more interested in Camilla, then a "better start" is kindof faint praise. LOL.

3am was too early/late. I will have to catch up at lunchtime. I hope they have a very happy marriage.

I'm fascinated by the Royal Family and all it's crazy history. I found myself awake right before the wedding was starting, but I figured I'd just watch all the video at a normal hour.

Kate is stunning and so was her dress. That will go down in history for sure.

While I love Prince Harry's demeanor I kinda wish he would have invested in a little hair gel for the big day

It was beautiful. I PVR'd it and watched it when I got up at a normal hour. That way I could fast forward through the boring bits.

I remember watching Charles & Diana's wedding when I was a little girl and being so captivated by  her - now a new generation can be inspired by another gorgeous and poised young woman. What little girl doesn't dream of being a princess?!

And if I were Pippa - I'd be commando in that dress! No room for error there. Laughing

I don't know.... based on the positions of the people in that picture and my knowledge of human anatomy, the prince may be screaming out in severe pain. Nobody wants to hear that.
