out of my backyard. What they didn't seem to realize was that the thing was broken...The grill plate busted out months ago and I took the adapter for the gas connection off and pitched it months ago too. I've just been trying to figure out a way to get rid of it myself, since I didn't have a way to transport it to the dump. No-one said you needed a high IQ for that job...

So, MERRY CHRISTMAS YOU NITWITS, and thanks for getting the piece of crap out of my backyard! Geesh...

Reminds me of the story of the fellow in NYC during a winter garbageworkers strike years ago. He would box and giftwrap his garbage and leave it on the front seat of his car. Voilà! No more garbage problem.

Actually I came by, pick it up and disposed of it for you.  That will be $50. Laughing

And my wife makes fun of the fact that my grill is pad locked to the fence.   I remember stealing a grill in college (a lifetime ago), and so I lock mine up just in case.

We did return the grill a couple of days later after our BBQ...

They can keep this one!! You better believe that if I get another one (I doubt it...I'm a girl...I want an indoor grill) that it would be chained to my grape trellis...let's hear it for concrete!!

That's awesome!  Glad to hear it was your BBQ Grill.  When I first read the subject line I thought someone clubbed you and snagged your "grill"...

That happened to us about 5 years ago. Of course, we were grilling at the time and had JUST removed the steaks. How they managed to pick it up while it was still hot is a mystery. I hope the little jerks got burned . . .

I take it this was just an old grill without a tank attached.  That is too funny!

Around here, people have their grills stolen all the time.  What the theives really want is the propane tank which is used to hold anhydrous ammonia for the production of meth.  Meth labs are a BIG problem around here.  Crazy stuff!

It could quite possible have been stolen for scrap. I know some places were paying as much as $25.00 for the lid just a couple of years ago. I don't know what they are going for today but to some people those old grills are a goldmine.
