Subject: More whining about my fantasy team
So had to make a descion on running back two weeks ago.

Deciding between dropping Ronnie Brown (who for the last two years has done nothing for me) or Cadillac Williams (who was showing a little promise this year) for Jamal Lewis ( who I figured if I didn't pick him up would end up having a monster year)

So of course the descion was easy. Drop Ronnie Brown who had a combined 10 fantasy points the first two weeks.

So then he goes off for 49,29 respectively and Cadillac breaks down and has to be towed off to the junkyard.

Lets recap my team

Dropped Ronnie Brown- now a superstar
kept the Cadillac- out for the season
Steven Jackson- still out and having a horrible year
Anquoin Boldin- out with a hip injury
Lee Evans- what a dissapointment

I think Fantasy SUCKS!!!

My team sounds like your team, however, I'm 4-0 in one league and 3-0-1 in another.  Steven Jackson and Maurice Jones Drew were my first 2 picks in my 4-0 league.  Double bust!  I also have Lee Evans, Calvin Johnson, Issac Bruce, Joey Galloway.  All had a great week once, but went down with injuries.

Shermbelle - 2007-10-02 9:08 AM So had to make a descion on running back two weeks ago. Deciding between dropping Ronnie Brown (who for the last two years has done nothing for me)...

Why do you keep/redraft someone "who for the last two years has done nothing" in the first place?

I'm now 1-3, second highest scoring team in the league but always playing the wrong opponent. This week my stud WRs TO, Roy Williams and Kevin Curtis all put up goose eggs for me, Brady falls just a little short and I lose by a measly 3 points.

After 12 years of this I remain convinced that this is nothing but luck.  Frustrating at times, but fun.

Since we are all whining...I'll pile on.

I think the local tuffy football team could sack McNabb with that pathetic group of fatties the Eagles mistakingly call an offensive line.

At least my 0-4 team is in firm control of last place with McNabb's 3 point performance last week.

So next week, McNabb is on the bench and Delhomme is still hurt and absolutely no decent FA QBs......I sense 0 and 5 come Monday.

My fantasy football is that the Packers are 4-0!!!  Don’t how long that will last and will enjoy it while I can.  Otherwise, no desire to play fantasy football.

Yeah allow me to also whine:

My QB is Brett Favre, I have Ronnie Brown, Larry Johnson and Willis McGahee at RB, my WRs are Reggie Wayne and Braylon Edwards and my TE is Desmond Clark. That group only racked up about 90 points for me.

The stupid Colts D only had 2 points and the Jets ST had zero, if I recall.

Dang life sucks.

I have the highest number of points in my league (400), but have fallen to 3rd place because I am now 2-2.  Craptacular!

We run a keeper league and are in the 16th year of it. I have won the first year and tied 4 years ago. Outside of that it has been dissapointment city.

As far as the Ronnie Brown choices, I am a diehard Dolphins Fan (did I say that outloud) and would love nothing more than for him to live up to his number 2 overall draft selection

P.S. Dan Marino is still the greatest QB ever!!

I hate McNabb as well... first two weeks he sucks so I bench him for Jay Cutler. Cutler hasn't done anything great but had consistently put up at least 8-10 points in my leauge, something McNabb was not doing and I was tired of it after a pathetic preformance Monday night. So what happens.. McNabb scores 29 points on my Bench, I would have won my game. So now I don't feel so bad bringing him back with Cutler going up against the Colts. So McNabb starts and sets an NFL record... For being sacked 13 times. I lost 13 points and lost the game.... again. Cutler Manages 2 TD's. So if you want to know who is going to do well in week 5... look at my Bench.

This week.... Brandon Marshall, Wes Welker, Larry Fitzgerald and Sammy Morris. Look for them to shine. Or should I start them over shaun mcDonald, Deion Branch, shaun Alexander, Travis Henry and Jay Cutler.

Im 0-4 and if there was one man to blame it on is Drew Brees. Can you believe I picked him over every qb except vince young and peyton manning who were already gone. i had the 11th out of 12 in the draft. turned out great for me. i hate him.
