Thanks for letting me use your bike pump David. That saved me another trip back to the truck. I was watching for you to come off the bike. But I must of missed you when I ran to get some food. I seen you starting the 2nd loop and you where still looking strong.

I didn't see this Monday morning or I would have stopped by to say hello.

While I was out on the run I came across a sign that said 5 mile marker for 10K. About a minute later I came across another sign that also said 5M for 10K. And then about two minutes later, there it was again. 5M for 10K. It was like I was in groundhog day.

Did anyone else notice this or was I just suffering from dehydration?

yeah i saw it, along with a bunch of others like it.

i came through mile 1 of the half in 7:22, and then hit mile 2 in 17 min...... WTF? hit the 5k in 22........, then 5 miles in 48?

i stopped paying attention after that.

Dave, it was nice meeting you at the race, even though it was very brief. I had a rough go at the swim, but the rest of my race was decent. I just completed my RR.

haha i think we all had a rough go of the swim!

I always try to get my own splits for each mile and man my watch was messed up with those crazy mile markers.

The five mile mark is so fun- you will want to do it again and again and again!

LOL! I'm glad it wasn't me! I thought I was misreading them or something. I have a zillion laps in my watch cuz I would hit it every time. I got so confused!
