We just bought a second hardshell kayak (replacing some blowups we had as a temporary cheap option).

We were talking about people who disdain the 13.1 stickers (like we both have on our cars) and my wife said she'd put one on her kayak.

I said "well that doesn't make sense. You didn't travel it in a kayak, right?"

To which she replied "I didn't do it in the Jeep either!"

Not sure what to make of the conversation. I'm the type to cover my guitar cases and other personal items in stickers/patches/labels. I just didn't think of a kayak.

Don't know what to tell you; I have a sea turtle sticker on my kayak but I have never been a turtle.

If she wants to personalize her kayak and it doesn't compromise the safety, does it really matter with what?

Yes well, the fact that I go to races in trishorts is enough public embarrassment for me. MY tritop just arrived (the day after my HIM DNF, great,....) so it will likely have enough doughboy puff out to be technically a bikini.

And rockin' the muffin with tri-top is just a step on the way to rockin' the mankini, which only the coolest of the cool kids do. Faris al-Sultan. I'm a fan.

Oh no, there's still a comeback.  "Yeah, well I slept with your wife!!!!"  (which is particularly useful when talking to one's own wife).
