I am signing up for this run and was wondering if anyone wanted to carpool. BC Ferries kills me. $60 for a one way ride? Seriously? If no one else is going I'm just going to pedal down to Victoria. I'm staying at a buddies place so lodging is taken care of (sorry, no room, I already asked (unless you are hot and are willing to make us waffles in the AM) I figured if anyone esle is going we can subsidize the ferry robbery costs. Going through the ticket booth I WILL BE hiding in the back seat under a blanket (this saves $13 and screws the man) The Jeep has heated seats which is nice for after running the marathon and qualifiying for Boston, you will be riding in comfort! You can PM me or respond back on the forums for all to see...I do have room for 3 people BTW (4 if someone wants to ride in the Thule box)

I am doing the half marathon. I've already made arrangements to get there, otherwise I'd take you up on the offer.

It makes nothing but total sense that the both of you would post on this thread. Dan's not going and meep already has something arranged. The way this is going maybe I should change the thread topic to : Whatcha doing on the weekend of the Marathon? I have purposly skipped on the sarc font...figured I'd get more responses this way.

I live here so don't need a place to stay, and I'm not running it this year as I'll be busy doing something else that weekend ...

How's things, nice to see you're still lurking around, wanna go for some beers at the monkey (provided it is rebuilt and operating again that is!) when I come over!?! PM me your web site, I've lost the link again, hope all is well, are you giving away spa treatment or whatever for a draw prize for the marathon? You should just GIVE it to me me instead! Later!

Not running in the half this year but will be all over the course on my bike watching lots of people.  Pretty sure the Monkey Tree is open.

BT is nothing if not helpful.  I think he might be stowing away in the back of the subie....under a blanket with a cookie and a beer....

made it better...
