My joke about changing the rules yesterday certainly provoked some comments. The rules stay the same pick 3 riders. In our side competition (I'll get round to doing a thread one of these days so the others know what we are talking about), personally I think those wearing the yellow jersey at the moment should only get ONE pick . It will only take one correct breakaway rider, like today, who beats our usual GC contenders choices to blow this competition apart. Then the picks will become more adventurous as we start to play catch up.

Unluckly to drop some time today CHR15. Just one good rider, that's all you need. Good luck all.

Tomorrow will prove to be very interesting.. especially later in the stage. Predicting Contador in yellow, Lance in Second, and Leiphiemer Third, and Kloden moves to Fourth.. Astana Sweep..

still considering lance for yellow, deep turmoil.. tomorrow.

Better get my picks in before the race starts. Don't want anyone to think I'm cheating. Have five names pencilled in with another that I'm being indecisive about. GC contenders should come in together.

1/ Contador ~ My banker. Don't think I'll lose any time (or chunks of it) with him.

2/Garate ~ Far enough down the GC @6'56 for them to let him go.

3/ I want another breakaway rider. Preferably an EUS one, but I know nothing about them. Thought about Oroz (why not?) but who is he? Martinez, but he was in the breakaway yesterday. But he could get the Polka Dot. Voight? Pellizotti. to high up in classification.

Ummm . Martinez

I thought you may have come out of your shell & been more adventerous with your picks today. Reasons for picking those three? Who else were you thinking of?

Easy!

Contador (like you he is a safe one)

Astarloza - someone from Euskaltel has to have a go so Ive decided its his turn

Martin - I like him...

Fourth pick would have been Gerdemann as this is like the stagehe broke away on a coupleof years ago...

Being indecisive again today, but I have to leave to run in about 20 minutes.  Part of me is tempted to use the same people as yesterday.

Hmmm Tough one today.

Bertie (He looked quite fast yesterday)

Cyril Dessel (Seems like the French are going well)

Wiggo!!!!!! (If he can get over the top with the favourites then he can drop them going TT style to the finish )

You're saying that because you want someone to pick Gerdemann.

Still, I do have to go, so that's what I'm doing:

1. contador
2. sastre
3. gerdemann
