Standings~

DALESSIT         77.02.47

SUPERCAT        77.03.09      + 0.22

TOM                    77.04.37      + 1.50

ARTEMIS           77.05.25      + 2.38

CHR15                77.06.03      + 3.16

JENS                  77.07.56       +5.09

Bad luck CHR15, that should have been a breakaway stage. Can't believe the way Cav came over the hill.  Unfortunately Cadel was your best placed rider & you lost a couple of minutes there, dropping you behind Artemis.  I haven't been keeping a check on where all the picks have come in on each Stage but I did notice that you also had the distinction of choosing the last rider in today, Millar. Congratulations

Surely there's only one rider to pick tomorrow. Will he go for it or just make sure he's with the best of the GC contenders?

My prediction: Lance will drop the silly charade as he and Kloden drop Contador like a bad habit. Lance wins the stage and gets the yellow, and then spends stage 21 fending off attack after attack until he pedals triumphantly down the Champs-Elysees.

Ok, maybe it's my fantasy and not really a prediction......

I thought you were going to end it with "And then he'll pull-out a piece of paper where he jotted-down his cure for cancer and he'll raise it in the air at the finish line for all to see that he really is amazing...and then I will be teleported to his body and get to live the amazing life of LA..."

I'm rooting for an LA/Klodden breakaway on the ventoux with AC playing the teammate and holding-back the other contenders for 2 minutes. But I think AC will hang with him and therefore, will help Andy stay on the podium.  Then again, AC will probably go for a big win and drop everyone like he's been doing and as he receives his yellow jersey, I will be playing this song...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XaZLlrwvzPQ.

I'm so excited for Ventoux, I could puke.  What time will they hit the mountain.  You can give me GMT, I can subtract...

I don't know if Lance can drop AC and Andy.

But, I think Lance is going to cut loose on Ventoux.  He's held back on some of the other climbs, being a good teammate to AC.  But he showed a bit of his old self when he bridged up on Petit Saint Bernard and again on Wednesday when he launched and popped Wiggo off his wheel in the last 1k of the climb yesterday.

I'm going to pick:

AC

Andy

Lance

Frank

Another thing to watch is for Pelizotti to try and go in an early break to reach the bottom of Ventoux first.

It's going to be a fun stage to watch, no question.

I think that Contador would LIKE to take this stage, but Brunyeel will be cursing at him in 5 languages if he leaves his teammates in the dust (again).

Lance has determination and strength, but can he hang with the "kids" up the mountain if they sprint at the end for a fast finish? Hmm. And they aren't going to let HIM just wander up the mountain alone....

Contador and Andy Schleck are the best climbers, but Contador may not want to hear Brunyeel yell, so I'm going with:

1. Andy Schleck
2. Contador
3. Armstrong

Of course, if Alberto's radio "accidentally breaks" or he decides that since he's not going to race from Brunyeel next year so he doesn't care about being cursed at in 5 languages, and another stage win will help him get a new Spanish team sponsorship, then I'll go with:

1. Contador
2. Andy Schleck
3. Armstrong

This is going to be a fun stage to watch. I'm popping the popcorn already.

Don't need three picks.

1/ Contador

But if I have to...

2/ Astarloza

3/ Pellizotti

A Schleck - Saxo will try something like with Sastre last year

Contador - Safety

Sastre

I think is probably going to be a random break try to lead from early on and win but cant even think of a name to pick so will stick with the favourites!

I really wanted Kloden to move into 4th, maybe 3rd.

I've been backing that guy ever since he placed 4th while being Ullrich's domestique. You'll have your time Andreas.
