Selling the frame from a bike I recently bought that unfortunately didn't fit me.

It's a 2011 Fondriest TF3 carbon road bike frameset with carbon fork, aero seat post (350mm), seat clamp, headset, alloy stem (120mm), handlebars and Shimano bottom bracket (for "hollowtech" cranksets).

The original seller bought it in Italy while stationed there (military serviceman) and told me had barely ridden 100 miles on it since due to his return to the US and starting a family. He was 6'-3". The frame is practically brand new with barely a scratch or blemish on it. Truly in great condition. It was just a bit too large and I could not dial in a good comfortable fit without a really short stem and the seat way far forward. The stand-over height was a bit big for me too (due in part to the curved top tube). For reference I'm 6' tall with a 32.5" inseam. My guess is you want to be taller than about 6'-2" and leggy to get this frame to work well for you.

Some general specifications:

- Steerer tube 1-1/8".

- Internal top brake cable run in top tube.

- "Semi-integrated" seat with oval profile and "integrated" neck in the line of horizontal tube. The unique fixing system of seat allows frame to resemble a typical frame with integrated seat, but maintain all the qualities of normal seat that can be repositioned several times.

- Reflex fork -- a brand new shape fork with provides the best stiffness, torsion and resilience performances.

- 35mm clamp-on front derailleur

- Material: 3k/12k Twill Monocoque Carbon

- Raw frame weight: 980 grams (reported for size: M)

- Raw fork weight: 370 grams

- Seat Post: 240 grams

- BB Type: 68mm / English

- Headset: 1-1/8"

- Size: XXL (the largest size offered with 55mm seat tube, 59 cm effective/horizontal top tube and 200 mm head tube - see the photos for the geometry).

I've tried to capture as many angles as possible in the photos and you can do some Google searches for more information, but here are a few links:

And a decent video review of the slightly newer TF3 1.2 version with the full internal cable runs for either mechanical cable or Di2 shifting:

I have it listed on Craigslist locally (Wilmington, NC) but will ship to the best offer. I'm asking $1250 including shipping within the 48 states. I'll get a box from my LBS and have access to all sorts of packing material at work.

A bike is NOT a piece of metal with a couple of wheels at either end and a steering thing to stop you running over old ladies. No! ... a bike is a space-age “weapon of mass confusion.”
