Per Runnergirl's request and the fact it is Friday and I truly enjoy the art of avoiding work by looking busy ie. typing a lot.
Before I begin, allow me to state I am a Moe's regular.
First Impression: I enter the establishment located on Ponce DeLeon in Atlanta. The store appeared neat and orderly. Most noteably was the lack of activity and noise, some would see this as a bonus. Second was the brief panic that set in when i thought i was actually at an Ikea. Although trendy, a little too overdone and too much metal for me. B+
Ordering: I found the menu to be somewhat disorganized with limited options. Silly me, but out of habit i typically read from left to right, which meant i was having a drink, with sour cream and guacamole along with some chicken and a burrito. I do realize the line moves from right to left as does the menu, but i was thrown initially
(I am not a smart man
). In addition what if i want less than three tacos? Or how about some chips? throw me a bone here. I going to spend $7 on a burrito and a drink and you cant pony a couple of fried left over tortilla's??? I am going to take it easy b/c it is a Friday. C
Sevice and Checkout: No issues. A+
Food and Beverage: I guess i am spoiled, but i prefer the salsa bar. I would like a little hot along with a little mild. The ability to spice things up to my specifications is a godsend. This country was built on Freedom. Tha ability to do as you like
(this is both my oscar moment and for tricomet's benefit
). Maybe i want green and red, or just really hot, and nothing puts out the fire of a good salsa like a glass of sweet tea. Unless you are Chipotle where the sweet tea
(yes, i am a GA boy
) taste like something out of a nestea can. C
Seating: We chose to sit outside, there arent many place where you can sit outside on November 4th and eat in a short sleeve shirt. The outside seating area is located within thirty feet of a major intersection. However, this did provide a certain amount of entertainment between the typical Atl driver running the red light and the ever present homeless wandering by. I felt like i was eating my burrito while standing on the double yellow line. C+
Overall: Welcome to Moe's!
