2 caps a must.

But as Leah told me last week "your hands and feet don't get any worse than numb"

except for the needles when they come back to life :-p

I'm back. Laura told me about this last night. Have fun girlz. I think it would be too difficult for me to make it for 6pm. Especially on my first day back at work in a week.

DrLeah - 2008-04-26 5:46 PM 6pm in the lower level parking lot.

We'll be the one getting out of work suits into bathing suits under towels and trying to look graceful doing it..

... in the rain...

Anyone else getting REALLY sick of mother nature being a tease and giving us one beautiful day followed by horrible weather?

I don't mind being called "guys" as a group - it's very neutral to me I really dislike "gals", and if you're going to use "girls", I prefer "girlz"

What about being really "internet hip" (from 1998) and using "grrlz" instead?

Dear Diary, tonight I met up with three terrible women at Sassamat Lake. They lured me into the water with their wicked ways using their womanly powers to do what I knew was a bad idea. I was scared. I was out of my mind. I tried to leave. But then they began to say mean and nasty words. They said they would tell everyone! They said I was being worse than a little girls...cause they were all in the water. And I wasn't. I was on the beach. Cowering. Wishing I had never met these horrible people. They made jokes about my man-parts falling off. About where my man-parts were in my swim suit. After having been coaxed into the icy cold waters of the lake, I now firmly believe the old myths of ships being drawn to the rocky shores from the beautiful voices of sirens calling out to the sailors, urging them closer to the craggy out croppings until the ships crashed onto the shores, killing the men and destroying the vessels. Now the voices I heard were not angelic, more like cynical, laughing and mocking and all though I didn't die, it was SO F%$#*&!@ COLD! It was like getting hit in the crotch with  an axe. A cold axe. With ice on it! "Keep swimming, it will get better." How will my reproductive organs warm up if I stay in the water!?!? How is that possible!?!?! My feet were fine after 5 minutes. The brain just shut the flow off since the flow coming away from my feet was 32 degrees colder than when it went in. Hands and face; same thing. My swim cap froze to my eyebrows!

In all seriousness, I am very thankful that the girls took the time to wait for the panic I went through to subside so we could all swim together. Thanks girls!

You guys are sooo freaking BRAVE (aka CRAZY!!!!).  I went for a short run tonight - then stood around at my daughter's field hockey (which we would have skipped if hadn't been picture night)....and I was sooo cold with just that - I can't imagine you guys in the lake!

Maybe next time I will come and photograph or video though - since it seems like Chris' antics should have been recorded for blackmail posterity!

Sorry, I've been a bit pre-occupied the last few days. Not to mention I need to prep my wetsuit since it hasn't been used in 6 months or more. Glad you guys had a good time.

They say that enhancement is a farce, but severe shrinkage is permanent.

You guys/galz/people are nuts!

a little too raunchy for me.

back on topic - are you joining us tonight??

Give me two more weeks.  I develop a higher level of freedom on May 8 and can make it out that way much more easily.  And if I join you, it will surely be to hold a camera and not likely to be getting wet.
