While I do enjoy a fleece vest, with zipper, either under a jacket or alone while working outdoors in cool weather... I don't advocate sweater vests in any situation. Two reasons: a) After I lost a bunch of weight, I was always cold in the office and the sweater vests seemed to be just the right balance way to balance the temperature. b) We had an old boss that wore sweater vests frequently and I knew it annoyed my coworkers when I wore mine and they were reminded of him. |

I keep a blackish-gray one in my desk, and it is very handy when the temperature goes low in the office, which it does randomly. I like them, but have been told by females, including the wife, not to wear them. I don't understand why they are bad. |
