Subject: RE: Rest of the World US Election poll (from the BBC)AcesFull - 2012-10-25 10:01 AM TriRSquared - 2012-10-25 7:20 AM That speaks volumes.... as to why Obama needs to go. Reality is, the US is far to the right of the rest of the world. Bush alienated our allies in a way that created rifts that seemed unbreachable. Obama was able to bring our allies back onto our side. Romney is associated with the failed policies of Bush, and so the world is against him. Ah yes. Our "allies" like Russia and China. Of course Russia would want a leader that will "give them a bit more leeway" after the election. You think China wants a US leader who will (attempt to) fix the trade deficit? Who calls them on currency manipulation? These "allies" are not "allies". They are just not enemies at this point. As for our true allies (UK, France etc..) again, they want a leader more like themselves. Far more to the left than the US currently is. So again, of course they would want a democrat. Take this poll every year for the last 40 years. I guarantee the "world" will always pick the Democrat. It's not news. |
