Thanks Zilla for updating the race link.  I have now added it to my race list.  I didn't want to list it with First Magnus getting the credit.  They suck.  I'll be doing the 109 again.

Hey Christina - are you going to not train for it again this year? I might not train for it too, with you, and do the 109 as well. :D

Of course i've barely ridden 109 miles this whole year, so maybe it's not so smart to sign up for 109 mi. I'm gonna be waiting to register, in any event....

I don't think I'm going to do any super long rides before El Tour... well, I might try to, but if I don't I'm not going to worry about it. My total yearly mileage before El Tour last year was a whopping 275 miles or so and I still made it out of there with a silver medal! I stopped at pretty much every food stop and ate a lot of animal crackers and generally just had a good time. It's fun! The worst thing about not training was my butt hurt for two days afterwards and that's about it.

I don't think Z will have 109 miles for the year before El Tour, at any rate. He's got about 45 miles right now. He is talking about going for Platinum this year, too (sub 5-hrs for the whole thing). The most frightening thing is he might be able to do it.
