Greetings everyone! Happy New Year!

After some aggressive PT last month I think I'm ready for my first run of 2017! If all goes well I can continue running.

Who's in with me to a great start of lotsa running this year?

I'm gonna have to back out of my own challenge so I can recover from my runner's knee diagnosis given by my knee doctor. Argh!!!

Finished up my last run of the month. I finished up with 123.26 miles.

I start up my training for Ironman Boulder. Hard to believe it is only 19 weeks away.

Soon after I got married, I decided I needed to get motivated to work out and focus on getting back into shape. I could barely jog a quarter-mile without needing a walk break.

I think quite truly for the first time I 'get it'. It's not just about the fitness. It's not just about the great little endorphin rush as you hit 5, 10, 15 miles...its not just the medal at the end.
