9.30.17 Not So Sunny Saturday!

Beautiful, sunny day here, 10 degrees (50 F). I went for a lovely bike ride and did some speed work. Fall is in the air.

Funny...Mom described the weather in Boise yesterday as "blustery", too. Can't help but wonder what winter will be like! No cold weather here, but several hours of torrential rain last night--at one point over a foot of water was surging down the streets past my apartment. Somehow it all seems to have drained away this morning. No doubt a lot of standing water on the parkway and MTB routes, though.

Yesterday, just one hour of water running. (School pool closed for swim meet; my apt. pool is great for aqua-jogging and okay for recovery swims but a pain for actual swim workouts--17m and there is a metal bar across both ends that makes turns very difficult.)

Getting ready for a trainer ride, maybe 1:30 or 1:45.

Have fun riding! Guess that will work some muscles you may not have used in a while. (Or maybe it's same as biking? I haven't ridden since I was 5 or 6.) Ruby will be jealous!
