Champion  10157    Alabama |  Subject: Market tanking - thanks to dem congress!What the heck is going on in the stock market?! I don't follow the market that closely but I've noticed my 401k has lost about 30k recently....and the only thing I can think to blame it on is Nancy Pelosi and the new democrat congress! ~Mike

When the market skyrocketed during the Clinton presidency and then tanked after GWB was elected, the right said you couldn't blame or take credit for market decreases or increases based on who was in office at the time. The market's too complex, they said. So now it goes down and it's the dems fault? Please. And you guys call us the waffelers. |

I was taking a page from the DNC playbook and blaming someone for my loss in the market. Shirley it must be SOMEONE'S fault - not my fault, not a market correction….someone has to take the blame…so it might as well be congress! Remember when the gas prices skyrocketed and everyone was blaming GWB as if he has called "big oil" and told them crank the price up?
Anyway, it was just a little humor get the day started. :-)

And appointing congressmen who keep $90,000.00 in cash in their deep freeze to important chairmenships because "he's not been charged yet". In my neck of the woods the only thing I keep in my deep freeze is last year's corn and okra, some t-bones and occasionally the body of someone I've not gotten around to burying yet….but I never put cash in the deep freeze!

I wish I was joking about the market tanking and losing the money. The only 'joke' was blaming the democrats….and we all know the democratic congress is a joke. Uh…I mean….uh…well, you know.
