Wetsuit Closeout - $100 full/sleeveless ( xterra and IM )

Whoa! That's an awesome deal. I may have to do it. Any women who can offer some advice as to sizing? I'm 5'6" and 145, so I overlap between med and large. Whaddya say?

I just ordered a 2003 Ironman Instinct Longjohn for $100 including shipping - can't beat that! Now, I just have cross my fingers that I get it in time for the Fall Chill.

Sadly, they are not offering any medium sleeved suits. I'm 5'11" male and right now 170 lbs, but will probably end up in the 165 range as I lose more of this beer gut. According to xterra this is smack in the middle of a medium. A small/long size is available though which according to xterra fits from 135 to 165 lbs and is perfect for my height. Anyone have any experience with the small/long? Will it fit?

I don't want to just buy a suit because of the low price but have poor uncomfortable fit.

OK, so I didn't need one but I ordered one anyway. Thanks Core for the heads up. Got a full one! Now I have a sleeveless one and a full one. Woo Hoo. Now how am I going to pay for it? Hmmmmm

Does anyone have an Xterra suit? When I look at the sizing Kim provided it says I should get a medium/large, I never wear a medium anthing. I'm always large.

I just bought a medium 2003 Ironman instinct. Does anyone have any experience with Ironman wetsuits? Better yet...does anyone have any NEGATIVE experiences with Ironman wetsuits?

I would love to bye the Vtex full suit, however i'm not sure if the small would fit me. The small size doesn't show up on Xterra's sizing chart based on the link posted. Anyone have an idea if a 5'6" 153 lbs male would fir into a small Vtex full suit.

Just ordered my first tri suit ever, I ordered a Vtec Full suit. Not reall comfortable ordering off the internet without trying it on but couldn't pass it up. I got the long sleeves as opposed to the longjohn. What do u guys thing or use, not that it matters since I already ordered it.

I just went over there...I think they're going fast. Two people bought them while I was there.

I just emailed the website because I was unsure of size, they said if it doesn't fit, you can return it for a full refund

I'm pretty sure it will be good. It's a pretty reputable brand.

Living in CO, I'd suggest the full suit with sleeves.  The shoulders are made now such that you have great mobility.  I have an Xterra and I love it.  It peels off easily.  If you have questions about your size, you can call Xterra and they'll help you (that is what I did).  They recommend using your weight as a guideline for sizing.
