Looks to be rising for most of the first half, could help the break, maybe?

Nope... but this is the first time I've really watched the tour. I've watched almost the entire coverage so far. Pretty interesting stuff. Makes me appreciate our "fast group rides" a litle more and REALLY appreciate just how fast these guys ride.

Hey Cat, yeah the weekend's got everyone away from the computer.  I won't be on long, but just wanted to check-in to see who was around.

Georgie looks like he's going to take the Yellow today.  Strange huh?

AHHHHHH!!!!!!

I had Hincape written down as a pick but erased it figuring that he would be staying with Cav to get him into the sprint.

Oh well, would be kind of cool to see him in yellow tonight.

England bowled Australia out but didn't enforce the follow on. Has been really boring except for Ponting dropping a catch in the slips. Tea ~ day 3 England 130 -2 lead by 340 runs.

Personally I really miffed as until today I've been the only one to pick le Mevel & Roche.

Have been flicking between channels but Deb only just released her laptop.

Hi sweetie. Think they'll stay away

WHAT?

Apparently a 60-yr old lady crossed the street after the breakaway passed and got hit by a police motorbike.  Died on scene.  2 others were injured when the bike slide in to them.

Overslept for the race today but it looks like it could have been exciting at the end.  Sorry I missed it.  Will definitely be getting up early for the Alps tomorrow!

Interesting stuff today for those that got to watch the finish.  Lots of Twittering by Astana (Lance, Bruyneel) going on that Garmin screwed Hincape by pushing the pace when there was no need to.

Good to see a bit of drama, the tour the last 2 years has gotten kinda boring, we all love each other type stuff.

Looks to me that Astana is as much to blame.  They were setting the tempo most of the race.  AG2R should have been  at the front.  What the hell was Lance and Astana doing there?

Lance to George: "Thanks for pulling my sorry over the mountains in those 7 Tours...here's your pay back"

I know..it's a race...
