I just watched "The Alan Webb Story" on USATF.TV, I thought that it was very good. I am excited to see how Webb does in Triathlon.

Dude! I want that 12 minutes of my life back!
I hope he does well, but the story could have been summed up in a few sentence fragments:
kid runs fast.
kid breaks records.
quits college after a year to go pro.
gets very rich.
wins races for a while.
marries attractive woman
has baby.
starts training for triathlon on gear we'd all drool over (a-la Ivan Drago in Rocky IV without the steroids of course)

That said, no ill-will here. I hope he does well too...seems like a nice guy...just a bit vanilla.

Thanks!  I bet he makes a bit of noise.  He had a 16:XX mile swim as a youngster.  From what I've heard he is going to jump into ITU draft legal racing.....should be fun to see.

That was interesting . What did he study during his one year of college at Michigan? I like the kid and what he did. Set some records in special races , but no wins against the worlds best..... I still stick with milers like Ryan, Wottle, Scott and ....as being leaders in the mile.

Now if he gets some good money endorsements for triathlon training/racing, good for him, hope he does really well. Should be a killer on the run.
