Comments: I'm so slow. I should stick to duathlons. What would you do differently?: Wear flippers. Or a small motor in my shorts. :D Transition 1
Comments: Wetsuit got caught on chip. It was a two-transition race so all my stuff had to go into a bag. I nearly forgot to do that. My shirt got twisted and cost me literally more than a minute. What would you do differently?: Wear the trisuit instead of trying to put on a shirt. I'm bush league. Bike
Comments: I struggled a bit on the ups. Raced a guy to the end. We were both standing and he beat me. :( What would you do differently?: Ride more. Transition 2
Comments: Quick and painless. Run
Comments: Well this is where I make my money and I pretty much f-ed it up. I first thought it was 5K so I took off like a bat outta hell. Then after the mile 2 marker the finish wasn't coming after about 10 minutes I thought I was off course. But when you're not first that's usually not an issue. SHould've been faster. need to train more. What would you do differently?: Run faster. Post race
Warm down: Grabbed a couple cups of water, some bagel and a nana. What limited your ability to perform faster: Lack of training. Event comments: Fun race. Not crowded. Last updated: 2007-07-18 12:00 AM

I rode my bike to the race from the hotel (about 5 miles) and got bodymarked. Set up T2 then rode over the start and T1. Set that up, dunked myself in the water, put on my wetsuit and waited for the start. Used the portajohn.
Nothing really. Stretched the hammie and the shoulder because the race on Saturday killed my bad shoulder.
