Niiiiice...put us fat guys in the 14th wave so we are out on the run course the latest in the heat.

At wave 14, when do we start?  9:00 a.m. or so?

I believe 8:24. I put you last, figuring you'd be fastest, as your momentum would carry you down the hills faster

In addition, I'm just not a very nice guy....and like to inflict as much suffering as I can.

Suffering is a necessary part of triathlon, at least as a clyde!!  And you are right about those downhills...Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

It's the uphills that I could do without.

I've got dibs on holding on to Harris' feet during the swim.  Anyone want to volunteer to pull me on the bike?

My number is the year I was born.  That has to be lucky.

I didn't know you could get 13 (or 14 or how many ever waves there are) different color swim caps.

So excited...even though it looks like I'll be starting near the end that day! Oh well! My coach has me riding another 50 or so miles after the aquabike for training that day (for Florida). Does anyone (Keith??) know if the course will be available/reasonable/safe to ride again once I'm off the bike?

DO NOT ride it while athletes are still on the course. It's a HUGE pet peeve of mine AND the Police. It's confusing to the other athletes, difficult for our sag vehicles to know who the last cyclist is, tough for the police to know when to dismiss the officers, etc.....You'd be going through intersections where bikes are coming back.

If you wait until the entire bike is done, you'd be fine, though....

Thanks, Keith! I will definitely wait until the course is clear. I totally understand and that is why I wanted to make sure it would even be okay first. You all have enough on your hands! Plus, I can get my BBQ and then head back out!!!
