| Regular 272 Houston | Subject: RE: What is the weather like where you are? Here too in Houston. 3 MONTHS. 3 MONTHS. We had the hottest AUGUST ever. Our average high is 94. Last year. 101.3. I was just about finished until September came along. It got to 105, TWICE. LOL. 109 once. You are right, Tucson is not nice either. LOL |

Once you have hit the convective temperature (and you and I have), there is a disturbance off the Gulf that is moving inward that will react with it and give you thunderstorms. Some of those will pulse severe, ( mostly downburst winds, hail and some lightning). Check your NWS link and they just put out a statement about it. As far as El Nino, yeah, the latest models are saying it is over 50/50 on that. We are still in a positive PNA so, it will take awhile to shake out. Just be patient.  |

By the way, I listen to the Paul Finebaum Show ( originates from Birmingham, Alabama) and they just still think you guys are a flash in the pan. I know LSU fans are bad and some of the Auburn folks, really? I swear I just thought it was football. I would love love love to see Bama and Boise State play. That would be so cool. I would love to see that too! You know when you knowingly sell your soul to Satan..er I mean Saban, you know what your getting into. I am waiting for the game of the century in our household. Sept. 1 is the opening day Bama vs. Michigan at Jerry World in Dallas. My husband is a MI alum and I am a Bama alum. Bragging rights for the rest of the marriage is on!
