I was skeptical, but all the folks extolling the virtues of bucket use and sitting in transition over the past couple of days has got me yearning for some bucket. Having a hard time deciding, so show me what you got and why youse got it.

In the other thread I posted my first choice, because everyone knows red buckets is fastest :

But then I was at Academy yesterday afternoon and saw this one in the hunting/fishing department:

Talk about nice: padded seat, carrying strap, multiple pockets to put stuff like soap, a razor and a toothbrush, if I want to engage in some additional personal grooming after I wash my feet during transition. Only problem is it's camoflauged so it may, like, disappear in transition.

I've heard (but cannot find pictures) that Zipp makes a transition bucket, dimpled carbon fiber with a titanium handle and ceramic bearings in the lid hinge. MSRP is only $2,499, and the best thing is it comes with huge Zipp decals that tell everyone you've got more money than sense.

... but the cigarettes in the bottom right part of the picture are perfectly legal according to USAT rules.
