During sign-ups, some people wanted to enter more than one goal this month. Therefore..... You may now have UP TO THREE GOALS for November! You may have one goal, or two, or three. It's up to you. On your team spreadsheet, I've set up an "Example" for you to follow. (This example will not count in your team's totals!) Here is your Team Spreadsheet: http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0An7ZkKfHG1L1dHhJU0VkRW9vSUx... To log on to the spreadsheet, use the following information: Username: [email protected] Password: challengeforum *** If you're already logged onto Google using your own account, you'll need to log out, then log in again with the above information. *** Each team needs to do the following: 1) Pick a team name. 2) Select a team captain. Team captain responsibilities: 1) Remind people when it's time to update the team spreadsheet. (This is the information that I'll use to determine the team standings.) 2) Let me know if there's a problem. (For example, a team member hasn't reported in for two weeks, etc.) When you have selected a team name, let me know and I'll change your thread name. Dee Edited by D001 2009-11-02 7:57 PM |

Elite 3471 Evergreen, CO | Subject: RE: Team 3 - November You-Pick-It Challenge Tnx Dee! Hi Team 3! I'll introduce myself. I'm following Jorge's cycling plan again this winter so my goal is to do all 3 workouts/week for Nov. Live in CO and we're digging out of our usual October blizzard, hoping it's warm enough to ride outside again by Sunday. Any volunteers for captain? |

Elite 4372 Connecticut | Subject: RE: Team 3 - November You-Pick-It Challenge Well hey Team Three! I see quite a few names I am not familiar with. Soooo, I am Erica, 30 y/o SAHM to three kids. They are all in school full time for the first year! This means I finally have some time to train! Sort of. You know, in between meetings and doctor appointments and scouts and cleaning. Husband and I just bought a house in September and we are working on getting everything to our liking. This means I am doing a lot of painting right now. Anyone like to paint? I am not such a good painter. Anyway, I am focusing on my weakness this winter so I will be biking this month. I, like Susan, am going to follow Jorge's winter cycling plan but my realistic goal is 8 sessions on the bike. Love more but as mav can atest, I am not a fan of my bike. Looking forward to a good month and some TURKEY! Love Thanksgiving. |

Master 1817 Lafayette, IN | Subject: RE: Team 3 - November You-Pick-It Challenge Howdy Team 3! I'm Emily. Count me as another who's going to try Jorge's Winter Cycling Plan. I've been ignoring my bike for the past month - just got back to spinning the pedals this week. I'm sure Jorge will kick my tail and I'll be ready to ignore my bike again by months end! |

I got a few outdoor runs recently - after recovering from the flu. OK. maybe I'm still recovering, lingering cough I wish I could be rid of completely. I'm focussing on the run. The sport I have hopes of gaining the most improvement. -Cynthia Here's the link to Jorge's cycling |

Expert 1076 Las Vegas, NV | Subject: RE: Team 3 - November You-Pick-It Challenge Hey team 3! I'm Todd. Gotta figure out my challenge for the month. My 'goal' (for the month, year, and millennium) is to finish IMAZ on the 22nd. That could be a 0-100% in one day challenge, but I figure I'll pick one discipline and set up some mileage. I have one long weekend left and then the taper starts. Will get it figured out and posted tomorrow. And btw, you can include me in the BT challenge addicts club Edited by toddg 2009-10-30 5:29 PM |

I was cleared today by my midwife to exercise, so this challenge is what I need exactly when I need it! Like Susan (hi Susan!) I'm in Colorado and buried under snow. My goals are to run and lift. I am going to try Jorge's cycling program too, but I hate hate hate the trainer.

Elite 3471 Evergreen, CO | Subject: RE: Team 3 - November You-Pick-It Challenge Hi Norine! The good part about Jorge's plan is you don't stay on the trainer very long, but it kicks your butt! I was very inconsistent about following the plan last winter but still noticed a difference. If you have a garmin (eta: or any programmable training watch), I recommend taking the time to download the workouts to it so you don't have to think during the workout. I don't have a powertap so I go by RPE since there's such a delay in HR compared to the work I'm doing and the intervals are short, thankfully Looking forward to getting to know everyone! I haven't done a challenge for quite a while because I always set my goals too high and would end up getting injured. Hopefully I've gotten smarter Anyone willing to be captain? Pro 4343 Olney, MD | Subject: RE: Team 3 - November You-Pick-It Challenge Hi team, I've challenged before with many of you. I've had a heel injury since June, haven't run since July, just finished 2 months of PT, and was ordered (yesterday) by my doc to get back at it. However, my challenge goal will not be running since I need to take that very slowly and don't want any pressure to do too much too soon. So, my challenge will be for 20,000m of swimming. I'm looking forward to a great month and a great team! If nobody else will do it I'll be team captain. |
