Hello from sunny Las Vegas! Softball tournament all weekend, not sure if I'll get any training in today! What is everyone else doing?!

Gorgeous day for a trail run/hike out on the Pacific Crest Trail out here in the Mojave desert with all the hundreds and hundreds of windmills.

9.5 miles at a carefree run/hike pace, about 1,500ft of elevation gain. Been nursing a tweaked ankle so it was good medicine to get on the dirt trails and get the ankles rotating around with uneven surfaces. No pains or issues so its on the mend, just going to have to back off the intensity for abit to let it really get solid.

So close to St George, I cannot afford to have it turn into a chronic over training issue. 

Beautiful Day to be out and about.

Morning "long run" (70 minutes) and noon-ish swim (2800m). Feeling more like myself finally, but "winter" is over (I think I missed all three weeks of it when I was sick!) and it is getting really hot now, particularly mid-day. Finding it harder and harder to resist the temptation of an afternoon siesta, and the cats are only too happy to join me on the couch!

2.5 hours trainer road workout.
