big racism problems with spain at the formula 1 and football (soccer) e.g. monkey noises. fcuking pricks. LOVE their success in footie, cycling and one of our best players is spanish but g-d they can be bigotted idiots!

idiots.  bad enough that one person thought it was a good idea.  worse that all those people went along with it. 

According to the article I read today, that's because no one thought, or from what I can tell, still thinks that it was a bad idea. Most of the people interviewed are either mystified about the controversy, or think that it's just the international media making a big deal out of nothing.
Case in point, the head coach, Aíto García Reneses, who was quoted as saying, “If I go to play with a taller team and I put here (raising up on the tips of his toes) it is not an offense. I can’t understand anything more.”
